BAP Seminars set for Greece and Turkey

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is holding two seminars on responsible aquaculture in the Mediterranean in mid-May.
Lasting two days, both of these seminars are free and will take place in Athens (May 13th and 14th) and Bodrum, Turkey (May 19th and 20th).
The courses have been fully tailored for Mediterranean aquaculture producers interested in learning more about the BAP third-party certification system.
The first day of each seminar will feature an overview of the BAP program, the BAP seafood processing plant standards and the BAP feed mill standards, while the second day will feature an overview of the BAP finfish and crustacean farm standards, the new BAP hatchery standards and BAP market development.
The Greece seminar will take place at the Metropolitan hotel in Athens. Oral presentations will be interpreted into Greek, while PowerPoint slides will be translated into Greek, Turkish, French, Italian and Spanish.
The Turkey seminar will take place at the Grand Yazici hotel in Bodrum. Oral presentations will be interpreted into Greek and Turkish, while PowerPoint slides will be translated into Greek, Turkish, French, Italian and Spanish. The seminar is sponsored by Kilic Seafood Co.
