Acoura Announce Appointment of Stuart Kelly as PSN Managing Director

Following a period of rapid growth, leading food and drink risk management specialists Acoura have today appointed Stuart Kelly as Managing Director of their Food Services and Hospitality division Perry Scott Nash Associates (PSN).

Stuart has extensive experience of working across the food compliance sector, most notably as Market Manager for Retail across Europe, the Middle East and Africa with SAI Global.

A trained Environmental Health Officer, Stuart was also founding partner of FoodCheck Limited, a provider of auditing and innovative web enabled software solutions, aimed primarily at protecting retail and hospitality clients from potential safety issues.

Acoura Executive Chairman Paul Egan said of the appointment: “I am delighted that Stuart is joining Acoura as we continue to invest in and strengthen our team. Stuart comes with an excellent reputation, strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen and a track record in the food compliance sector. As Managing Director of PSN, Stuart also joins the Acoura Board. The move coincides with founder Pat Perry becoming an independent Non-Executive Director for Acoura, where she will continue to support the Group at a strategic level.

Stuart’s appointment comes shortly after the Acoura Board announced that specialist divisions PSN, SFQC and FCI would be rebranded under a unified Group identity in early 2015. As well as consultancy solutions, training and other services to manage risk and address compliance issues, Acoura conduct 25,000+ annual audits and inspections across the agriculture, marine, food processing and hospitality sectors. The rebranding move is designed to encourage Acoura’s specialists to collaborate more closely and improve the level of support and range of services customers currently receive.
