Farm assurance assessments don’t have to be stressful experiences. In fact if you spend a little time preparing before your visit you can save yourself loads of invaluable time on inspection day. Below are some quick tips on how best to prepare yourself.

Have all your paperwork ready before the assessment.

Making sure all your records (like rodent and spray records etc) are in place and quick to access will give you a head start during the assessment.

Make sure your team is available.

If you have a number of personnel relevant to the assessment, make sure they’re all free for the inspection period. This will ensure that the assessor can get the relevant information from the right people quickly.

Visit our group information centre.

Go to and search for your scheme. Here you’ll find helpful templates and guidance specifically aimed at your scheme. From individual templates to farm record books, there’s plenty of information aimed at assisting you with your assessment.

Speak to our staff.

All of our customers have access to year-round technical support from our in-house team. It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking for information on scheme standards or have a query about integrated assessments, they’re here to answer any of your questions.
